Brief info
Liza Lucero earned her Associates Degree of Nursing in 2000 she then proceeded to further her education by obtaining a bachelor's degree in nursing through the University of New Mexico from there she advanced her career when she earned her Masters of Nursing Degree and then proceeding to earn her Post Masters Certificate from the University of St. Francis, Joliet Illinois 2013. She has been a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2013.
Liza was drawn to nephrology and specialized in it in 2002. She believes strongly in education and worked as the Unit Educator for the University of New Mexico Hospital for both adults and pediatric.
Liza brings years of experience to the New Mexico Kidney Foundation in the field of dialysis, family practice and renal medicine.
Liza currently works at Renal Medical Associates where she enjoys helping patients and making a difference. She is a member of the National Kidney Foundation, ANNA, ASN, NMPC, AANP.
Liza enjoys crafting, reading, writing poetry, active within her church on ground and virtual and staying healthy through exercise. Her all-time favorite activity is spending time with her family.
