This support group offers emotional, social, and resource support for people living with kidney disease and their family members, caregivers, and support people. It allows you to gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others that are facing similar experiences.
- Designed for those suffering with Renal Disease and Diabetes
- Designed for loved ones of people with Renal Disease and Diabetes
- Facilitated by New Mexico Kidney Foundation Staff and Volunteers
- 30 minutes long and meets weekly
- Confidentiality is a priority and required of all participants
- Aim for better coping skills
- Find strength in sharing experiences
- No judging of anyone’s pain
- Learn from the experiences of others
